My friends and I had a fun time on this map. You have a good sense of scale so your building look realistic. You got the look of the various areas down and there's no mistaking when you're going through an office building or through a hotel lobby. However, I thought the lighting was a bit dull. There should be more contrast between light and dark areas. Also I had a problem where I spawned underneath the spawnroom, inside of a solid brush.
This has a lot of potential to be a gorgeous map, its just needs some tweaking in the lighting and added details such as though little stories of previous survivors who died in parts of the map. I'm liking this a lot. Keep working on it and I'll keep playing.

Thanks for your comment, the spawn bug has been fixed in 3.6 version. Good Luck to you too.
By downloading the map there is only chapter 1 the other 4 are missing
I really enjoyed playing this map, from the sliding of the drawers to the final panic event it brought fresh ideas to the game. I loved working my way through the buildings due to the scenes of past attacks and conflicts.
Excellent work, looking forward to chapter 2.
Sliding bookcase at the start. Window-washing elevator between floors. Fun stuff. Looking forward to the rest of the maps.
Only bug I saw were some of the gun spawns disappeared after you grabbed them, instead of staying there for everyone. I think it was a 2nd pistol that did that.
Fun map to play. Some nice details, liked the dead tank in offices. The elevator outside was something different and cool. Very well made map.
One funny thing i noticed afted the "intro video" bill said that we should get going to no mercy hospital and the subway would be the best way there.
Any .vpk coming for the Red sea campaign?
I've created a vpk for the 3.7 release and if the publisher wants, i can email it (and the modified files) to him so he can see what differs. its pretty easy to make the vpk file so if you want, i can tell you how real quick. later, monkee
go upload on this site your vpk please Rafiki DaMonkee =)
looks like he (or someone else) actually did upload the VPK. so I added the link to the downloads list.
Couldn't get the .vpk file to work. L4d crashed saying incorrect version of red sea(or something similar-can't remember exactly)
