incredible map! and so many good ideas!
i just had problems to get the key-platforms activate. i once had to kill a zombie, next time i only needed to jump on it, next time i was forced to reload while standing on it and so on..
the other thing: maybe i'm only too boon-like but couldnt find a key to unlock the door in front of the room, 2 rooms before exit. so i teleportet myself through the level and i saw another key-platform behind this door. of courcse it wasn't able to be activated ^^
i look forward for an bugfix.
by the way, is there realy nothing in the room with the piercing wagons?
ps: great idea with the alarmed car!!
pps: the compas isn't realy necessary. if you look straight upwards, your
wapon-pointer marks the position
greetz
correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's how you're supposed to activate the key pads, by completing different tasks.
also, couldn't get it to run on our Linux server.
nah all you have 2 o is have 4 peeps standing on it
How big of a file is this map?
Also, where do I save it?
Is this a reliable website where I don't have to worry about downloading virus or something with the map?
I'm having trouble installing this map. Where exactly are the map files and where do I place Zelda in them?
How do you play online? It doesn't show up in the campaign list for me.
dude just put the .VPK file into steam/steamapps/common/left 4 dead/left4dead/addons duh
Awsome map. many lulz where had while playing. 10/10
Perfectly captures the feel of the old Zelda style dungens. Brought back all the memories i have of me throwing my gameboy across the room in frustration as i tryed to find my way to the boss. 10/10 :)
like the map but i can't get it working on my server making it impossible for me to play with m8's
everyone you want to play with has to have the map PRE INSTALLED (there is no support for dling of l4d custom maps atm)
This was really fun and very interesting. Loved the boss. Wish there were more boss fights, like a room with 6 hunters with 10x health boss fight, or being on a platform surrounded by lava or a cliff or whatever and have 8 smokers on the outside smoking people off. Maybe 3 tanks in one room. Felt the need for more bosses. Otherwise, great, great map.
i put everything in the right folder, but whenever i try to change a map on a server i started, it says "cannot change map, not running server" and i am the owner of a friends only dedicated server, so can you help me?
this is because the computer your playing on isn't the server. to change maps running on a dedicated server, you'd have to do it through RCON. Open your console and type: rcon_password YOURpasswordGOEShere, then do: rcon changelevel l4d_zelda01_f
RCON password is defined in your dedicated server's server.cfg file on a line that looks like:
rcon_password "YOURpasswordGOEShere"
and where do you find that?
Great map! Unfortunately doesn't work on our linux server.
yeah the map crashes on linux
This was a very cool idea. The ending with the dragon was hard only because my bots just stood there and did nothing but waste med kits on each other while I had to deal with the horde and fire balls when the bots died. Overall the entire level was great. The idea with the map on the ceiling was cool when I noticed it.
great map, only problem i really have weith it are that the AI's just dont feel like moving. severasl times i had to just be by myself until they mapped to my spot
(fix?)
