Description
This will be a complete campaign called "Urban Decay", characterizing a city in downfall due to the infection (a la I Am Legend). I'm thinking of letting it take place just before the No Mercy campaign, making it end the moment No Mercy starts. I'm not yet sure if this will be a single- or multimap campaign, but I'll just start with this.
I've made a video showing all what I have now, watch it here. It spawns special infected and normal zombies at times, as the director is not yet optimal. Its mainly the brushwork and flow that's shown.
I'm currently working on my own mod as well, but will finish this in the coming months. Detail and realism will come as soon as the SDK comes out (which will be in the next week(s)).
Chapter 2: Unnamed
This is the second (or third) map in the Urban Decay campaign, which is undergoing major changes. This, however, is a media release for this map. It doesn't have a name yet, but will be set mainly underground in a seweresque environment.
This is a media release as I do not have the time and the SDK to finish a playable version. Its much too short and still has some errors.

Your map seems to be a good start !
Anyway, I'd like to know how do you happen to have a working custom map running in L4D ?
I managed to compile a map with the Valve Hammer Editor, but when I run this map in Left 4 Dead, the engine crashes with a message saying something about a NULL name for a model.
Any idea ?

Hmm.. What I did was just taking the basic entities using the Valve Dev Community Wiki entry (http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/List_of_Left_4_Dead_entities). I compiled my map using the HL2:EP2 configuration, without any models and only with dev textures. It worked quite well. The players do start under the map (as can be seen in the video) and the director does not work that well yet.
If the error persists without any models or prop_ entities in your map, I don't know what the problem is :(
You can try to Google the exact error message, which might yield results.
Otherwise I suggest you should wait until the official SDK comes out, which is hopefully in the next weeks.
This seems like it'd be better if it started b4 the game starts.
Like the intro movie is the last level.
Running from a tank like that would be awesome.
